Michael Morris, a 1998 graduate of Monroe Central, began his coaching career shortly after high school as a Boys Varsity Assistant and Boys 8th Grade coach at his alma mater. Following a pause in his coaching journey to serve in the United States Air Force, he returned to the sidelines, volunteering with the Monroe Central Girls Youth Basketball program. Over the past seven years, he has led the program as its Director. Morris has also coached girls’ basketball at Monroe Central as a Varsity Assistant, as well as coaching 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade teams at both the club and school levels.
